Piggy Bank Tier
Added 2022-08-13 04:52:54 +0000 UTCI am pondering changing the reward/perks for the Piggybank Tier. Why? Because I've seen piggybank credit used a grand total of like, 5 times over the years. The only except are a small number of $15 patrons that use their Piggy Bank credit to vote on minis (which I could just make an additional benefit of the $15 tier).
The question, of course, is what to change the Piggy Bank Tier rewards to...
I've been thinking of coming up with a new $10 reward as well.
Suggestions welcome both here and on the discord.

I agree that "lack of hope" is a big reason behind the low turnouts, but it's hard to fix an issue that only exists because the despairing has resulted in a self-fulfilling prophecy. If a significant portion of the $5-15 tiers voted they would be a major force to be reckoned with.

2022-08-20 01:02:41 +0000 UTCThe bonus vote piles usually narrow down the list to 3-4 options that can feasibly win (sure, if *everyone* voted - or even half the possible voters - they could potentially make any option win, but that isn't likely to happen). The last vote was a crazy landslide victory, but if we look back a bit further: - The previous vote was decided by 4 points! That's not even a whole vote! - The vote before that one was decided by 6 points! Again, not even a whole vote. - The vote before that one was decided by 28 points, which means TWO votes would have changed the winner. Getting third place to win for most of those months would have taken 5-6 people voting. But the number of people that COULD vote for the minis but don't is well over 50! If 10-15 more people voted most options would be within reach of the finish line.

2022-08-20 00:58:52 +0000 UTCOne of the issues with using the piggy bank credits is you get one vote on the mini comic. Then someone else with a huge bank votes and basically decides the election. So it's a little disheartening to vote

2022-08-17 16:30:34 +0000 UTCI am very hesitant to give a complete version of the bonus art benefit to a lower tier, as the $15 tier is where nearly half our funding comes from, and the bonus art access seems to be the primary reason it is chosen. There are currently 48 patrons at the $15 tier. Most of the time less than 10 of them vote. It's often more like 2-5 of them.

2022-08-14 06:54:34 +0000 UTCWhat about a Voyeur Tier ($10 to $12), you get to see all the finished art (Alternate pages, Bonus Art) but no Submissions/Voting or only being able to vote or submit only once a year. It could go well with the Submission Tier for those who want to submit and vote more.
