How To Go About Future Minis Continued
Added 2017-05-26 19:23:51 +0000 UTCSo, the last poll was a tie between voter sketches and grim minis, with various forms of alternating months getting support as well.
Decided to do one more poll with the revised options.
Description of terms used in poll:

"Voter Sketches": The submissions for these months would be simple peril scenes involving 1-2 characters (Same content restrictions as the Dir sketches / Grim minis, a complex monster/device/etc counts as a character) that is perilous in some way. If a submission wins multiple months it would be upgraded each time (sketch -> lineart -> flat color -> fullcolor). Like the Dir sketches, basically, only with voting.
This change would free up Eldrik's time, allow us to create art for several fetishes each month, and save some funds that would then go into color or more page(s) per month (it depends, during sexual content scenes we'd probably lean towards more color).
Voter Sketches would be available to all patrons, and possibly posted publicly as well (or maybe just the upgraded pages?)
The director tier / sketches would work the same as before.
It isn't an issue if alternating, but if the non-alternating option won and we went with Voter Sketches we'd still finish Wheel O' Doom.

"No Vote": These months would be spent working fully on the main comic instead of doing voter sketches / grim minis. The Dir sketches / QnA / etc would work the same as before.

"Tentacle Dungeon": Eldrik has a series on Hentai Foundry that are basically single-panel fullcolor images (lower res than GFC pages) with accompanying text each month. People vote on what the current focus character does, sexy peril ensues.
This would also save time for Eldrik compared to the Grim Minis. However, this option would greatly reduce how many fetishes we cover each month (and have months where the extra content doesn't involve sexual content), and if this was chosen we'd have to change what the submission tier reward is to something else.
As with all other options this wouldn't effect QnA, Dir sketches, etc.

B Month: Submissions | Mini Voted for in previous month is posted. This means there will be user input every month, and we'll have more time to plan out each mini.

2017-05-26 20:47:47 +0000 UTCI think TD suffers from the threat of failure and that is causing it issues, even if I still like it. If the group dies in TD Eld said he's done with it. in this instance we just reboot with new a new char, so no proverbial sword of damacles hanging over it.. I think they'll be shorter adventures, and as mentioned "ramping up the difficulty" should limit meandering.

2017-05-26 20:35:28 +0000 UTCI dislike "choose your own adventures" done by democracy because they are no such thing, they are "vote for the choice you like and really hope that everybody else thinks as you do even though they rarely/never do". This is setting aside the fact that the majority usually goes with the most mundane option, Tentacle Dungeon is nice but it has meandered and flown in circles for months due to this.

2017-05-26 20:32:35 +0000 UTCI have a sneaky suspicion voters in this patreon would pick "bad" or "wrong" choices a LOT and by ranking up the difficulty we're proposing very similar things. That said, I like this idea a lot to, but seems like more work with potential rules changes? But does give them chances to evolve and correct over time

2017-05-26 20:28:45 +0000 UTCI would counter that having a CHYOA setup like TD only with the "difficulty" ramped up a lot. Once an end is reached, we won't necessarily follow up with the same setting/location and the rules that were observed in that location may not apply in the next. Otherwise, #2 seems good.

Instead of a kind of choose your own adventure like Eld has where you follow the same chars in a sexy DnD type adventure, we could make a choose your own peril adventure where every month a new adventurer is released and tries to escape only to meet some perilous sexy end. Like a GFC themed Rogue Legacy if you've played that game Still one panel, but we can vote on how that contestant meets their end and sono can write up a short story to explain how they got to that fate. Maybe have WoD host make a snarky comment at the end. Etc Just a thought
