yeah... i noticed before, but i think you got a bit of a wrong impression here, kuma. again, something that's better explained in the novels, but tanya is not necessarily using the orb out of free will like you seem to think. not only is she pressured into using it by her superiors, which her personality would demand her to follow their orders, but remember, the first time she used it, she did it subconsciously due to being x's influence. after the prayer she snapped out of it and was both confused and completely pissed about what just happened, indicating that the usage of the orb may not be completely voluntary on her part... not much else to say for this episode apart from that though. although, do keep in mind that as explained before, it was the entente alliance, the country anton sue serves in, that started the war by trying to occupy land belonging to the empire. they're really just reaping what the sowed.
