2021-12-24 05:22:55 +0000 UTCI'd argue it's the villain's fault. Goku is just living his life, training, and fighting bad guys. Goku was just living his life when Raditz came, and he was forced to fight him after Raditz kidnapped his son. Afterward, he was dead and training with King Kai because Vegeta and Nappa were on their way. He didn't send out a message telling the Saiyans to come. He didn't even know they existed. After that, everyone had the idea to go to Namek, which was already under attack by the time they got there. The only mistake Goku made was letting Freeza go, something he thought wasn't an issue after he blasted Freeza before he left to get off the planet. After that, he didn't even know Freeza was alive so he can't be blamed for Freeza being put together as a cyborg and going to Earth. It's been a while since I watched that part of the original anime, but since he was on a distant planet it's safe to say he probably couldn't sense his friend's energy to get to Earth via Instant Transmission at that point in time. The androids were created by Doctor Gero because of Goku, that's true, but the only reason Gero wanted revenge on Goku is that Goku stopped the Red Ribbon Army in Dragon Ball from doing evil things. It can hardly be blamed on Goku that someone who was never mentioned before Dragon Ball Z was doing things offscreen while he was enjoying his life. Cell, again, was created by someone who didn't exist before Z, and the only real mistake that's firmly Goku's fault is giving Cell the Senzu bean. But Cell was only in that Timeline because of Trunks and Bulma inventing the time machine. Goku had been dead for years before Cell was even fully grown. Given that Goku can only instant Transmission to people's energy, his choices were let Cell blow up Earth or teleport him somewhere else, with King Kai's place being one of, if not the only option at that point. Beerus came looking for Goku and Vegeta of his own accord, Freeza was brought back by no fault of Goku's. The Tournament of destroyers was something the Twin destroyer gods decided on their own. Goku Black and Zamasu were already planning on doing their Zero Mortal Plan before they even knew Goku existed, and the only reason they know about Goku is that Goku Black was sucked into their timeline, which gave Beerus and Whis the clue about Zamasu, and as Whis exclaimed, it was a time paradox that Beerus would have broken if the time ring didn't protect Black from changes to his past. And the tournament hinted at between all the universes was suggested by Zeno in the first place. Goku just sped up the process, but it's likely not by much given how Zeno was excited by the idea, to begin with.
