We all know how this scenario plays out: there’s the famous Rabbit Season sign on a lot of trees and our favorite rabbit, Bugs, is changing every single one to target the hunting to his frenemy, Daffy Duck xD.
However, this year the duck wasn’t having it. All the prior years he has been tricked by Bugs into getting shot by the hunters. He wanted revenge, he wanted the bunny to get his karma, he wanted Bugs to suffer. He was lucky that before the hunt began, he found on sale a machine that was advertised as “The Rabbit Breaker”. Unknown to him what exactly that machine was going to do and letting himself be called by the name alone, he purchased the strange devise without a second thought and eventually put his plan into motion.
It was the day: the infamous sign was starting to appear in every tree of the forest, advertising that the Rabbit Season has started. So, knowing fully well how this scenario plays out, Bugs got out of his home, decided to change the signs, one by one, changing Bunny to Duck, a little action that eventually would get Daffy getting shot, again. However, this time things got a bit different. The duck waited for the rabbit to get away from his home so he could install the machine there without him noticing, placed a sign of Rabbit Season as bait on the nearest tree and hid on the nearby bushes. When Bugs came back, he noticed the sign and tried messing with it, but that's when Daffy activated the machine, which rose from the ground it was buried under.
Before he knew it, Bugs was suddenly trapped by the machine as it caught his wrists, ankles and chest. It was impossible for the bunny to escape, so he could only struggle. While he was trying his best to escape from the binds, Daffy decided to reveal himself. An evil smile ran through his face as he showed a big controller to the rabbit. Before he could say something, the duck pressed the biggest button on the controller of the machine. That’s when Bugs’ fate was sealed: A big roller started to spin rapidly under the bunny’s paws and behind him a group of little brushes started to run all over his armpits, sides, and thigs. He couldn’t do anything but laugh at the top of his lungs and trash as hard as he could.
The machine lived up to its name in the best way possible as Bugs started begging Daffy to stop it. He agreed to do it with only one condition: for the bunny to accept that today was, in fact, “Rabbit Season”. Bugs, not having much of a choice, accepted. Now all Daffy had to do to stop the machine was to press the big red button again… right?
He doesn’t know. There are other buttons, and he doesn’t know which one does what. I guess the only thing he can do is to try them all~
