Mamiya RB67 Instax Mini Mod
Added 2020-02-19 09:26:57 +0000 UTCI recently acquired a broken Instax Mini from a friend and had the crazy idea of mounting it to my RB645. Unfortunately the 645 has an internal film plane and the design challenge was too difficult for the time I had to spare. I decided to instead design around the 67 frame. Here’s a shot of the final product and some examples of the unique perks a fully manual camera with good glass lends to integral film. Long exposure night shots and natural light without flash. Next time I should bring a tripod to get really clean shots. I thought these were pretty good for hand held long exposures but it barely touches the full potential of this mod and capturing in the dark.
