Moving Forward Post-Ban

If you have yet to read any post, please start from 'Explanation of Ban on Royal Road' first. The tag 'Notice' is used.

BlackMarket will still continue. Free chapters will be posted on ScribbleHub as well as here. 

Patreon will still endeavour to deliver two chapters a day where possible. I know I have not been keeping up with the schedule, and I'm extremely sorry because of how much i underestimated what my full-time job will contain.

If you want a refund for the last month, please drop me a message and I will refund you immediately. No reason is needed. Simply ask.

I don't plan to drop this story anytime soon. However, I will admit it has taken the wind out of my sails a little. 

I have appealed the permanent ban in a similar nature to my first post, Explanation of Ban on RoyalRoad.

The ban may or may not lift. Moderators retain the absolute right to decide. It may not lift forever, or it may be converted to a year ban, or a six-month ban. Who knows?

Either way, I don't plan to post another fiction on RoyalRoad, even if the ban lifts in three months. At most, BlackMarket chapters will resume posting there; that's about it.

Q: How badly has the ban affected you?

Not as bad as you think. Just like Kyle in BlackMarket, I always hedge my bets. I have already seen and noticed other authors being targeted or slammed in a similar way over the years on RoyalRoad. This time, I was basically a partial sacrificial lamb, though not without reason.

Q: Will BlackMarket go anywhere else?

I'm currently looking at alternative options, including a kindle unlimited launch. That remains to be seen. Perhaps SpaceBattles, WebNovel, Tapas and whatnot. We'll see what's feasible.

22nd Sept to 14th October - Wedding and Honeymoon Trip.

Blackmarket chapters uploaded every other day outside of this block out dates.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the patreons who have donated thus far. Your contribution has finally allowed me to provide a simple but nice wedding occasion and a trip for my wife, something that has been long overdue due to our limited budget. If it was not for BlackMarket I would have never been able to achieve this significant moment in my life. 

Apart from this ban, everything has been going well in life - my satellite finally worked, I'm getting married (hosting a ceremony) and going on trips I never thought I could go on. Thank you all again for your donations, contributions and help.
