ATEEZ Coachella Week 2 | Reaction

Hi guys!

As scheduled, here is the reaction to the Coachella performance of ATEEZ during week 2!!

The ending was my favourite, I got emotional, I got goosebumps and MINGI GODDAMNIT what a stage presence he has and I mentioned this in the reaction but I sometimes get G-Dragon vibes from Hongjoong. That charismatic stage presence is sth that not everyone has and I think that the Captain is doing such an amazing job!!

Also their English is adorable HAHAHHA

I hope you guys enjoy this video, as always thank you for watching and until next time!! <333 kiss kiss

Thank you so much for your reaction! :D I'm going to be the essay comment here because I'm honestly so passionate about Ateez's Coachella performance. I woke up at 5-6 am to watch this live performance on my laptop when it happened last year. First of all, I'm pretty sure week 1 was the same as week 2, they only wore different clothes. The biggest issue with it is that the live recording is basically unwatchable, the camerawork was SO bad we literally couldn't see the performance. It was always drifting off stage and focused on the wrong things, I was so happy the second week had proper camerawork.😭 Atiny made a huge scandal over it too. I think it's such a pity too because Hongjoong (my bias) looked absolutely phenomenal in that week, I recommend searching Hongjoong Coachella week 1 photos, he was mesmerizing and his stage presence was at its peak.😩 Anyway, I'll explain some of the easter eggs that you saw in the performance that you might not have understood without some context. 1. The eye at the beginning references the dystopian concept in which everyone is being watched by the government. The theme of this era was Outlaw so that's why you see them as cowboys, playing poker, referencing Django, etc. 2. I have so much to say about the song that starts at 20:25, called The Real. This song really hits different when you see it performed the more you know about it. During the bridge, Hongjoong comes with a fan that has written 'Golden Hour' on it. Each time he performs this song live, he has something different written on the fan (which he always customizes himself based on the context). For example, during World Tours he writes things in the native language of the place they're doing the concert in. In this case, it was a teaser for their next comeback which we didn't know about until then. At the time, Ateez discography could pe separated in 3 eras (Treasure era, Fever era and The World era - relevant for their lore, and have big theme shift). Back then, they released the last album in the World Era, and we didn't know what the next era is gonna look like. So he teased us for the first time in Coachella that it's called Golden Hour (current era). Also, the last part of The Real performance (where they hold hands and dance in a circle) is different every single time they perform the song. They usually do free style dancing or something new, which makes the song always fun to watch to see what they do at the end. 3. The song Arriba (the drinking song) is their first latino song they made (it was very well received and they made more after). Arriba in Spanish is what you say before drinking, kinda like "Cheers" in English. And they weren't actually drinking during the performance, Yeosang later revealed that it was barley tea. And you are right, Mingi does reference Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with his costume during his rap part. :) It was a spoiler for their next comeback 'Work' where he is dressed like Willy Wonka, atiny call it Mingi Wonka. But he's kept the attire ever since when he's performing Arriba because it was so well received. 4. Finally, you have no idea how wild the Wonderland performance in Coachella was for older atiny.😩😩😩 It was the FIRST time since Kingdom when they performed Wonderland in this version, with the Kraken and everything, YEARS after Kingdom. We didn't exepect that version to ever get performed again. Mingi was also not present during Kingdom, so it was the first time we had this version with Mingi in it. :] And Jongho's 4 notes durring the bridge, it is not part of the original Wonderland song and before then, it only existed in the Kingdom performance. So it was the first time after years when we heard (totally unexpectedly) Jongho's 4 notes. And they've kept this version of Wonderland in their live performances ever since (I watched it live this year in their Europe tour :D). We also had the comeback of the Seonghwa scene where he slays the Kraken. I'm not sure if you saw because the video doesn't have very good quality, but you can see Seonghwa at the end having a black tear stain from his eyeshadow (payed actor if u ask me), and after it came out, my twitter was FILLED with artists who painted Seonghwa's tear for dayss.😩 I recommend searching Seonghwa Coachella tear. That's it I'm sorry for talking so much but I swear some of these key moments change a lot when you know the context so I hope it helped. :] Thank again for your reaction!

I loved the boys’ performance both the first and second weeks that I watched. They looked amazing, the songs were incredible, and their vocals were absolutely stunning. It would be really nice if you could check out either the first or second week of Coachella 2025 where Enhypen performed. They performed on both weekends, and their stage was just incredible. During the first week, they all wore exclusive Prada outfits the brand designed them especially for Enhypen’s Coachella performance since they’re sponsored by Prada. In the second week, they had a more casual vibe, wearing their own clothes. Both weeks were amazing, the performances were wonderful, and I’m sure you’d love them!
