I agree with you on the no-fault divorce thing except when you say this is the only way you can get hurt if you’re an asshole and the only reason for it is men wanting to trap women. There’s some pretty shitty people out there, including some women who will string men along marry them and then men get absolutely destroyed in the divorce proceedings. So while I agree with you, we need to keep no fault divorce. There is absolutely a way that it could help men. I still think all the guys gunning for it are idiots though, so please don’t misunderstand me lol

2024-06-25 15:27:36 +0000 UTCI been diving with sharks all over the world - unless it was a bull shark, tiger shark, great white, or pelagic shark (sharks that live in open water so don’t often encounter food) it is going to swim away from the giant sinking boat just as fast as it fucking can … There a video of a guy cliff diving and his go pro sees a great white and of course he panics and swims as fast as he can away from it but it looks at him, as mildly curious as its tiny brain can handle, and swims in the opposite direction …

I have another 15 years to wait, apparently. I have a scar on my forehead from chicken pox, and I already have a deaf ear from meningitis. I don't want to play with shingles. Also, loved Tom's rant about the adultery section. I felt validated. :)

2024-06-24 01:40:32 +0000 UTCEverything you said about the Ten Commandments is correct but I think that what you’re missing is that this move from the Louisiana legislature isn’t about the Ten Commandments. It’s about the current U.S Supreme Court. They’re making this happen, knowing that they will be sued, so that they can appeal those cases up to the Supreme Court and test the limits of just how far those right wing howler monkeys will go to inject Christianity into public life. This starts with the commandments but if they can take an inch they’ll take a mile.
