I keep getting messages from the family of the person who used to own this phone number. It's been several years and I haven't told them I'm not George. It's kind of nice being invited to reunions and concerts since my family doesn't do any of those things. I was also getting some texts from an actual weed dealer and someone looking for weed and a ride. I wanted to see how long they'd keep texting so I never said anything. They texted for quite a while. Ugh. All these new stories about even more sophisticated scam techniques keep reminding me why I shouldn't use my full name on the internet anymore.

There’s an ACLU article written by a volunteer patient escort that may be worth reading.

For decades surgery had been performed on intersex/DSD children. This small segment of people is literally being assigned a gender and surgery is performed from a very early age. This is done under the auspice of "for their benefit." Often the children grow up never knowing truly why they need to be "fixed," parents told not to say anything to the child, and they are left isolated, believing they are the only person in the world with their condition. Almost no one is bringing this up, so it is apparently okay. The thing is christians do know they exist, carve out an exception, turn a blind eye, and let surgery happen to little children. So, what's this about loving all of god's creation as he created it?

Everyone ignored it, it was obviously a wrong number. One guy did answer it, after a few moments said, "I'll go get him." He placed the phone down (didn't hang it up), the train arrived, and everyone boarded. The columnist sought out the guy and asked him about the phone call. He said, "Oh. It was a telemarketer."
