2021-11-15 03:08:54 +0000 UTCI enter Style Invitational contests in "The Washington Post." Does count as submitting for publication? The last time I submitted a story for publication was five years ago, when NaNoWriMo Zootopia fanfics had a special offer. I didn't stick around long enough to see whether it went through; I had finished seconds past the NaNoWriMo site deadline. If you're talking about a more formal publication, I submitted a fantasy story to a magazine when I was 21. They rejected it very politely. I hardly minded, because I had written it for a school assignment.
