The politicos in Texas will not dare convert to renewable energy despite how we are literally drowning in renewable options and could easily lead the charge into a brighter, healthier future! The biggest and most obvious obstacle to anything resembling brainpower amongst Texas politicians is their unbridled greed and sociopathic selfishness. To them, there’s no way for Texas to convert to renewables, because doing so would be the equivalent of biting the hands that have fed and continue to feed their insatiable gluttony. The Texas oil and gas industry is a revered institution of enormous historical importance. Oil and gas company executives are the prevailing political donors and lobbyists and palm greasers who have made the Bushes, Perry, Abbott, Paxton, Patrick. et al, extremely wealthy, and they are the ones who keep these useless criminals and buffoons in power. Texas is nothing but a bastion of egomania.
