CP/M is an operating system that was popular in the 70s and early 80s in the business sector. Notably, MS-DOS specifically implemented some of its paradigms in order to make users feel more familiar on the IBM PCs of the 80s and some of these paradigms persist today such as the drive letters A and B being reserved for floppy drives which results in the main hard drive of windows computers even today using the default drive letter of C. I meant to comment this months ago and am re-listening to it and noticed that I never did so you're welcome.
