I have a unique take on Luke's relationship with the family. I'm a recovering addict but my younger sister is still in active addiction, she's actually never been sober. The majority of the time using drugs and/or alcohol is a manifestation of a deeper issue that's being avoided. There's a difference in being clean and being sober. Being clean is simply not using drugs and alcohol, being sober is facing the underlying cause while not using drugs and alcohol. Its alot easier to ignore everything and shove it down than it is to confront it. I can understand how difficult it is for Luke while also understanding how his addiction effects his family members. The main thing I see in this show is how as children they're all happily optimistic and as adults they all individually process and manifest trauma differently. Each episode will elaborate on individual siblings and their experiences. It will come together and when it does, it will all make so much sense. Such an amazing show. Thanks for the reaction! I was wondering if it was because it hadn't been edited in or maybe I was missing something lol

Yeah the addiction itself will always stay but all one needs is the willpower to quit and to stay clean. I've been clean for years now, beforehand I was shooting up a multitude amount of drugs daily. I really hope Luke is able to find the strength to get clean in this series. I'm really loving this series so far and love being able to experience it for the first time with you.

Honestly, this show was made for you Hannah, amateur sleuth, you're gonna love trying to figure it all out. Also, imo Steve sort of gets a bum deal being the first story. Alot of people hate on him but I find that sort of unfair -- last episode he seemed like an asshole and an enabler to Luke but you don't realize until this episode how much time and money they've all put into Luke's recovery just to be disappointed over and over again.
