I bought the Panasonic SE-MHR5 a few years ago as a mobile, balanced solution for the Fiio Q MkII. Bass forward but good enough for a commute. I paid about $150 https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Portable/Headphones/SE-MHR5

I wish I could forget spending $350 on anything. Why is your DJ voice Jamaican?

LOL When an audio reviewer finally reviews a DJ headphone! Yeah, these are 350 and they're the flagship model of Pioneer DJ's headphone line. The cable is that goofy way so a DJ could go quite a ways from the mixer and from my understanding, no it's not a balanced cable. As for them being "Shouty", IMO all DJ headphones are that way because of where they're designed to be used. While I don't mind my HD25s, I can only stand the fit and sound profile for about an hour or so before I start getting a headache. Anyways, as someone who has DJed as a hobby for a few years now, this was a hilarious review to me. Thanks Z!

MIL-STD-810, Environmental Engineering Considerations and Laboratory Tests, is a United States Military Standard that emphasizes tailoring an equipment's environmental design and test limits to the conditions that it will experience throughout its service life, and establishing chamber test methods that replicate the effects of environments on the equipment rather than imitating the environments themselves. Although prepared specifically for military applications, the standard is often used for commercial products as well.
