2019-02-06 05:11:33 +0000 UTCThat will be nice. I have been using the A-100 as my main amp since May, and the noise floor is very noticeable on my 1990's. I got my pre-order in, so I when that gets here, I'll use the A-100 for my 3 sets of MK3's and the 789 for everything else. Kind of sucks that I'll have to wait till May, but that gives me time to get my hands on an SU-8.

2019-02-05 22:37:10 +0000 UTCHey Zeos! Since the THX is preorderable on massdrop again, I wondered how good it is suited power wise to drive the Fostex T20s. You said one needs 6.5W "to make me happy" but the A-100 puts 12W into 33 Ohm while THX puts 1.8W into 33 Ohm. That would be not even be 1/6th of what the Emotiva delivers.Even if I decided to mod it into a balanced Argon, the THX wound still output only 6W@32. That would still be only half of the A-100.
