S7 will absolutely Do. It was just on my review desk the EL was the best thing.

2018-09-14 13:50:47 +0000 UTCI am one of the Verum kickstarters. I noticed in your review of them that you found they were fussy in matching with amps, and you wound up using the EL Amp. Here you are reviewing the Aune S7 with the Verums using a balanced cable. Would you say the S7 was as good a match as the EL Amp? I also have the Argons with the balanced mod. I would like to use a single headphone amp. I'm hoping the S7 will do, but I certainly don't want to introduce distortion into the Verum.

2018-07-29 04:30:34 +0000 UTCL300Limited is recorded and it is going to be stiff competition. It's a bit wider than the L700 with similar imaging characteristics. It isn't just vocal. Its everything. Although bass is fast and not overly abundant because of the VERY open design.
