Sure. New JBL 305p? The Swan M200mkIII? . Both do bang up jobs.

Looking for a set of powered monitors for my computer setup, any suggestions? Under $500 USD

Wow for just 65 more I got two Jamo C97 towers and a surround receiver. Yah that's a little to pay for boring speakers.

yes, I get it. But... Guess I just don't like this particular set.

Watch the 305p review. That covers those. And these are out of the picture entirely.

They don't get a recommendation but this is the AudioEngine sound. Just flat AF and expensive. I can't hate them THAT much.

I mean the one set of Kanto's I could compare against are in my kitchen. Not as much going on in terms of imaging but I think their sound is much more ALIVE is the word. Even at 1/3 the price.

No bass extension, high rolloff and elevated midbass makes Evan go mad!!!!

And this is the reason I had to return mine. They had their moments but yeah most of the time were just dull.

I would prefer the version with Bluetooth and the optical in, but that price! I can just use my chromecast on my desk when I'm not on the road, that should make up for the lack of bluetooth

How do the Kanto speakers compare? I'm using the audioengine b2s in my livingroom for casual listening. They do a great job with jazz, acoustic and indie. No Bluetooth issues.

I haven't listened to any genuine NY pizza for comparison but I can confirm the M200MKIII are amazing. I bought mine here, the new version has Bluetooth but dropped the price of these beauties:

Hey Collin, Swans have the M200 mkIII+ now, which brings Bluetooth and optical input...complete package now in my opinion.

Yuck! You were way to nice about these.

Actually what I really want to know is how the Mackie MR624 and the Sawns compare. Those are really the two that interest me from your reviews

Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of experiencing New York Pizza for context. I've been torn between desk speakers and speakers for my desk that I can use for a TV, but I'm leaning towards desk focus at this point. Kind of want something like HD660 "equivalent" if that makes sense.

More like the New York Pizza of desk speakers.

So would you say the swans are like the hd660 of desk speakers?
