Missed this comment. I do plan on discussing it further. The issue is the volume change that occurs because Balanced is usually more powerful. So you can't really fast-switch without some issue.

I had the 560s. I loved em...made me put away my mx50s. But they dont wear well. I could do an hour with them...that build qual brings on weight. I got the m565s and added brainwaves pads....7 bucks from china...sticky Velcro stips...and wow. Best gaming headset I have ever had. Light and easy to use...they melt on your head. I loved that. I got the 1060s b/c why the hell not make my life suck less. I loved the 1060s but came back to the issue of the 560s...they dont melt away on your head. But the sound. I'd say the m565s are the best for gaming. I now have to pick one to keep. Its going to be the 1060s as the sound just makes it worth the heft on your head. I dont think the 560s do that for me.

I bought a Schiit Jot and can't say I've noticed much difference aside from the power increase which is Epic! Helps so much with the hd600 and 6xx

Noticed that, for the past couple of headphone reviews, you've been using your balanced splitter out of your Aune, not something I've noticed you using regularly since your Aune X7s review back in February. Have you, or are you still considering doing a balanced vs non-balanced review? Is the difference worth the additional cost of a balanced amp, balanced cables etc? Maybe get the delectable "Sandy Mayflower" to do the switching so it's a blind Zeos test to remove the (remote) possibility of a bias one way or the other?

Nice. I have the revision 2 and have ordered a balanced cable and thinner foam backing for them. Really curious about the Phasor mod but haven't had any luck finding a source for it other than something like what DMS did when he added felt strips.

Nothing really hardcore. I added some 3D printed Phasor's that were sent to me with the back covers and swapped to a thinner foam backing. Also oiled the wood which you don't need to do on the new version. And made the balanced cable.

Are you planning on doing a video where you go through the mods you've made to the M1060's? I'd be very curious to see that.
