Few ruminations on this drawing itself: I tend to be very anal about what gets done with what and how, and especially what gets turned into a screentone digitally, so my drawings often come together in their final look only in digital/print versions. And I’ve been meaning to try and nail this very particular look for a very good while - here's a couple of scribbles I had laying around my desk for at least several months:

So, here' how it could also look in strict BW (but maybe underlight with no tone at all is a bit too aggressive):

And then this how how it would look if I used my traditional approach (no yellow halftone in lit ares):

Anyway, it's just a fun experiment for now, something you probably wouldn't even notices if I haven't just pointed it out in this post; but it helps with my pondering about one certain character which could use some of this trickery for the way his wrinkly old skin could be rendered in a comic.
