It's nothing serious and I do not imply any sort of "Slav Nihilism Universe" or "continuity" (because this geek shit is poison), but I love having these tiny anchors in my stories. I think of "Old Man Gorcha" (whose name I borrowed from "The Family of the Vourdalak " by Alexey Tolstoy) and "One-Eyed Hare" as equal little bricks which I use in these comics.
