Dwarf ingenuity is proudly on display in April, with more ranged firepower and air support, and a brace of new heroes to lead them into battle.
The black powder weapons borne by the Dwarf musketeers are rightly feared for their armor piercing capability, and this regiment should be approached with great caution by your enemies. As usual there is a choice of command stands and a choice of sculpted banner designs or a blank banner for your own designs. Fully supported individual musketeers will be provided alongside the strips.
Dwarfs are hardy folk and fearsome in battle but it has to be said that they may not be the most mobile army. Fortunately the latest creation of the engineers gives swift air support wherever it is needed. The Dwarf gyrocopter prints in 2 fully supported pieces and you will just need to glue the rotor blades into the body of the machine after removing the supports.
This month's heroes are a Dwarf Lord and a Lore Master. The Lord has the option of printing with a decorated or a blank shield.
For Glade Nobles ($10 tier) and Merchants, April brings new heroes for the Noble Elves and Chivalric Knights.
The Elves gain a suitably majestic army standard bearer, which can of course be printed with the sculpted design shown or blank for your own design. The roster of Elven magic users is also expanded with a new mage floating above his enemies and bearing a staff and flaming sword.
Not to be outdone, the Knights have an army standard bearer of their own (once again with option of sculpted or blank banner), and a new hero that seeks to bring the King's justice to those that would defy his rule. The knight of justice can be printed with sculpted designs on the shield and barding, or these elements can be blank if you prefer.
Finally there are a pair of wound markers for the Chivalric Knight army.
All the new releases will be available for download on April 2.
And finally, thanks to everyone that has taken the time to vote on the poll (and especially those that contributed some thoughtful comments). Although the voting hasn't quite closed yet, the result seems clear and there will be further polls to determine the next army in April.
