I just wanted to say that I have noticed there is more going on with Sunoco than the chubby/likes to eat jokes. That is obviously just the tip of the iceberg. He is always on his own. In videos, not staged photo shoots, behind the scenes, you can notice the others in twos, threes and little groups but not Sunoo. If they gather together he is always on the back or outer sides. In one interview, they were praising Jay and Niki’s bleached blonde hair. Sunoo is sat right in the front row, right in front of them in bleached hair and no one said anything. You could watch him waiting to be mentioned. Then realising he wasn’t going to be acknowledged and his face falling, trying not to look hurt. It was that interview that really made me think he is being pushed out. And subsequent videos how this subtle constant sidelining is moving into being more noticeable. His face lights up if any of the team say anything to him or include him for a moment on camera. But they throw their arms around each other’s shoulders, never Sunoo. I don’t even think it is conscious. Just has become a habit. And the managers need to stop it. Sorry for the rant got nowhere else to say this. He is not my bias or anything. Just feel so sorry for him.

If it was clear the person was an impersonator, yes for sure, they would be getting their 15 minutes of fame everywhere. But if it was not clear the "IU" on the phone was not the actual IU, then I think there would be a Right of Publicity concern with using IU's name, similar speaking voice, likeness, and holding themselves out as IU, etc etc. Not sure if there are laws against that in Korea?

My perspective on the Niki and Sunoo stuff: people at home experienced painful emotions when they heard what Niki said. They passed their pain to Sunoo. They are now asking Niki and Sunoo to change so they don’t feel pain anymore. This is psychologically and spiritually harmful. We would all benefit from working on not handing our pain to others to heal - that itself is aggressive (In yoga philosophy there are two limbs of yoga, out of 8 limbs of the tree of life, called the yamas and niyamas. The first one is non-violence and that extends to stepping in for someone who is capable of speaking up or doing something themselves, even when they think they can’t. It’s considered a violent act to take away someone’s lesson in personal strength.) David - A+ impersonation of Danny ☺️. Can we hear the impersonation of IU anywhere? When that happens in the US, the impersonator is praised, interviewed and asked to appear on shows 😆

Racket Boys - I don't think it is a racist scene, but it would be insulting and slanderous if Indonesia has never actually done something like that to a visiting Korean team, regardless of whether other countries have done so. In some countries, hospitality may be a matter of pride. Celeb Voices - Yes, celebs should have rights to their voices which is an essential part of their image. At least in the U.S., recognizable celebrity voices are highly marketable on the radio and in voice acting. The program should have made it clear in captions or some other form that it was an impersonator who had permission while it was airing or directly after.

About celebs insuring their voice, I don't see it that weird after reading that: Miley Cyrus insured her tongue, Rihana her legs and Madonna her breasts. It seems that even Bruce Springsteen has done it already. Now, what I don't understand is: what for? If you catch a cold because of the weather and can't sing, is your voice insurance supposed to cover the loss and costs of possible concert cancellations or what? Just wondering.

A lot of things have been taking out of their context, in order to make it look like fat shaming, but I really don’t think it is. Haters and non fans invented stories, like about Ni-Ki’s and Jake’s fathers, which are completely fake. It shows that we can’t trust everything that is said on Twitter. Some « solo » stans are still throwing hate on Enhypen members everytime the word « food » is associated to Sunoo. They became obsessed about it, but Sunoo never said he had any issue with it, and constantly talks about food. Furthermore, sending death threats to 15 years old kid is really crazy and unacceptable. I think Belift should stop associate Sunoo to food, because it is not funny anymore. It’s all a misunderstanding. Especially Ni-Ki, it’s obvious that he would never intentionally hurt Sunoo. We are all humans, sometimes we say some harmful things while teasing friends, without noticing it. And we don’t even know if Sunoo feels bad or not. Fans think they know everything about their idol, but in reality they know nothing. They don’t know how it is behind cameras, they shouldn’t invade idol’s privacy, they shouldn’t speak in their name, and they also should realize that most of TV shows are scripted.

I'm not an ENHYPEN fan so I'm speaking from an outsider's perspective with limited insight, but I wonder if a lot of this is just cultural differences. I'm asian and it's extremely common (like every gathering common) to hear comments about weight among family and friends that may come across as fat-shaming to a person who grew up only in western culture, but not to people from eastern culture. I do think in the future the culture should change to stop putting such a big emphasis on weight because everyone has a different body type and it's very unhealthy to do extreme dieting just to be skinny, but I think it might be too far to call it bullying without taking into account cultural differences. I am curious to see how different the reaction from korean vs international fans is on this issue, I suspect it is quite different.
