Interesting that Realist theory (its arch nemesis is Idealist theory) within philosophy of International relation tends to view the prototypical nation-state as a singular organism situated within an archaic system relative to competitor nation state organisms in a perpetual state of power domination. Internal organism structuralism is based on constructivist theory that situates discourses of power and self evaluative maintenance between persons that compete with close peers to be state actors or corporate actors, or rock stars that control the nation state through the politics of elitism.
