We are a day later and the outfit has been tried on, but I think our sweet young boy is having a few issues, But as ever Aunt Jane is on hand with a comforting word or two.

They saw you on the pavement outside Bergman and Knightley wearing your uniform. They saw you on the shopfloor as we walked through to Madam Staff's office." "Yes, and it was embarrassing." "Nonsense, honey. All I saw were admiring glances." "Really?" "Yes. How many times do I need to tell you? You looked so pretty in your pencil skirt and Bergman's cerise blouse. And the way you walked in the 120s they sent was so stylish! Like you were totally at home in them and never wore anything else." "Really?" "Yes, darling. I think Madam Staff and I were the only ones to notice that your skirt could do with being cinched a bit at the waist. We agreed that they'd take it in by an inch." "An inch. That'll make it even tighter?" "Yes, tighter. Bergman's prefer their shopgirls to have nice hourglass figures to show off the Bergman Knightley uniform. They don't normally allow belts but Madam Staff agreed that a little waspie belt with front and rear lacing would look good on you and help you develop more of the classic B&K figure. Won't that be nice?" "Yes, Auntie," Andy sighed. There was no way he could argue with his Aunt when she was in this kind of mood. "And when I waited outside her office, what were you and Madam Staff talking about?" "Aren't you the inquisitive one?" said Jane. He wasn't sure whether that was a rhetorical question from his Auntie and decided to give it a rest.
