[Important] Changes to Tiers

Hey everyone! 

I hope you're all doing well - it hasn't been the easiest start to the year, but we beat on, boats against the current, right? Regardless of how the first week has gone, I sincerely hope that your 2022 is filled with happiness!

I'm making this post today about some super important changes to tiers. 

Firstly, with the creation of the new channel (authASMR), I've decided to revamp the Patreon tiers! We now have 4 brand-new tiers: Lune, Tara, Nebula and Caelestis. The starry aesthetic on the Patreon and the YouTube channel is something I'm quite fond of, and will become relevant (thematically) in certain audios - for those of you who are interested in the lore!

To be transparent, I rely on Patreon for majority of my finances - YouTube unfortunately doesn't pay enough for the amount of time that goes into creating audios, and as a med student finding a part time job that would be flexible with my timetable is exceedingly difficult. Your support through your pledges means that I can use my time (that would otherwise have to be spent on job hunting/employment) on YouTube/Patreon, without having to sacrifice quality in order to complete audios. It's because of your guys' monetary support that thousands of other people can enjoy my work for free, and for that I am eternally grateful. 

Unfortunately, the cost of my accommodation is increasing astronomically this year due to governmental+university issues that are out of my control. So, this is why I've made the difficult decision to increase the cost of my Patreon tiers. 

I do have a second reason, which is I felt that I was undervaluing the work I was putting into Bonus Audios. They are often half an hour in length, and can sometimes be physically demanding to record. I wanted the pricing of tiers to reflect this, hence the price change.  

The good news for those of you currently pledged is that you can continue to enjoy most of your benefits. See below:

For Royalty Patrons, you'll have full access to Bonus Audios (and all, other current benefits) until the 28th of February, after which I will be switching it to this and last month's bonus audios, like the new Tara tier. You won't have to change your pledge for the Tara benefits. 

For Pack Alpha Patrons, you'll continue to receive all your current benefits until the 28th of February as well. Furthermore, you'll continue to receive the following benefits without having to change your pledge: 

- full access to all Bonus Audios 

- patron name credited in YouTube videos 

- discord role (it will be switched to Caelestis)

If you would like to receive the other benefits (2nd bonus audio, transcripts, fan requests, etc) you will have to change your pledge to the Caelestis tier. For more information, check the memberships page: https://www.patreon.com/AuthAudio/membership
