The time signature is crazy - the verses are in 6/8 and the downbeat is NOT where your ears think it is. Follow the low E string for the beat. It takes a while to tune into it... and then to hold it... but it's really good practice. And if you don't know BCNR then check out Ants From Up Here - one of the most stunningly eccentric and beautiful albums of the last 10 years.
