I spent a lot of time in the Subspace Emissary in Super Smash Bros Brawl as a kid, and this particular song really stuck with me - it's one of the extremely rare occasions where a remix of a song from a different game ends up in another game, and takes on its own distinct personality. I wanted to transcribe and arrange this song so I could understand just how this arranging feat was achieved, and while we're at it, why not do a full jazz arrangement of it with my band? This was SO much fun to do, and everybody's performances really made this turn out super nicely :)
