A perfect morning (Part 1) (Page 18)
Added 2021-08-18 16:04:04 +0000 UTCIt's nice and warm under the blankets, with our naked bodies warming us up. My mind is still fuzzy from last night. I can feel Ciri moving in my grasp. I roll away from her and lay on my back while she's still using my left arm as a pillow. I look and see an early morning sun starting to rise out the window. I feel some movement, and Ciri has gotten closer as she wrapped her arms around me with her head resting on my chest. I'm a body pillow now.
I don't see the harm in sleeping in till she wakes up. To be honest, this is the most relaxed I've been in 11 years. I might as well enjoy it while I can. I close my eyes and fall into a sleep-like state.
Not fully sleeping, but more than resting. After another hour, I hear Ciri speak in her sleep. "Ceerraa... Don't move like that... It makes me weird~." She's a little pervert even in her sleep. Thinking about what we did, she never did say it was safe if I could pull out or not. She's the only one I'd do that with. If a child is a byproduct of our love, then there is no reason to hate the idea.
I'm happy that we're reunited after all this time. I would assume that wherever she's heading, it has to be on foot or horseback. The Wild Hunt will track us if we teleport long distances. I'll have her back like she'll have mine.
As I finish my thought, I feel said girl wiggle beside me. "Mmm... I wonder if it's too early to ask where you learned to do all that Cera... I hoped that I took your first time too..." Well, you did, Ciri.... I'll remember last night for the rest of my life.
She is waiting for an answer, and I'm not going to make her wait any longer. "You're my first Ciri... I just followed my instincts. I hope it was as good for you as it was for me..." I hoped Ciri experienced the same pleasure I did.
Last night was absolutely wild, and I can't seem to get it out of my head. "It was Cera... However, I seemed to have lost common sense with the things I said to you... Please don't think less of me for it..." She seems pretty ashamed of the hot things she said.
I can't let that slide, now can I? "I think it made it better, Ciri... I discovered a side to you I've never seen before..." She looks away with a red but smiling face. It seems my honest words worked.
She looks back at me with a beautiful smile, and my heart throbs at the sight. "Want to get up and have some breakfast? The food here is wonderful!" I think that's a great idea. I believe we did things in the wrong order, but there is no changing that.
I look forward to the morning with you, Ciri. "I think that would be really nice, Ciri. You can tell me what you've been up to." She looks pretty happy with the idea that we get this time together. I get out of the bed and do not notice Ciri frowning at my scar-covered back. I put on my underwear and look at Ciri. She's fully nude, looking for her panties from last night. I'm getting an eyeful of everything. I turn away as not to lose myself like last night.
After a couple of minutes, we're fully dressed and head to the office where the Baron stays during the day. After reaching the door, we hear him speaking to his guards about his missing family. We enter as the conversation finishes.
He looks at us and has a tired and annoyed look on his face. "You two were quite loud last night... Nobody could sleep until you were finished..." Even I blush at that. I look at Ciri, and she's looking down in cute shame.
I should explain our situation to Philip. "Ciri is the old friend I was waiting for. We haven't seen each other in 11 years. Sorry about that, Philip..." I try taking the spotlight off Ciri. I'm better with words.
He sighs and leans back in his chair. "It sounded like more than just old friends." Man, he's not dropping this, is he?
He is waiting for further explanation, and I oblige. "We grew up together in Kaer Morhen. We shared a couple of kisses back then. I left her without even saying goodbye or giving a reason." When I say it like that, it paints me in a bad light.
Well, better me being painted that way than Ciri. "So young love that went unfulfilled. Just be quieter if you decide to do it again." Well, I can't really say we'll be quieter, but I nod regardless. I'll just have to try and keep her quiet when we do it again.
He stands up and picks up a bottle of alcohol. Geez, Philip. Drinking this early? "Now that you're up, I need your help with a Drowner nest. It's been attacking and killing traders that come and give us supplies. We need them gone before they start sending more. Do this, and I'll forget about last night." Drowners will be a simple fix.
I look to Ciri and see she's in a better mood now that we aren't talking about last night. "How does hunting some Drowners sound?" I know what the answer will be. I'm looking forward to talking about our time apart.
She smiles and grabs my hand. "I think it's a brilliant idea." So we're going on a date. Nothing sounds better right now.
I look back towards Philip and get the information I need. "Well then, let's go. Where's the location?" Drowners usually hang out by bodies of water. There was a river about 2 to 3 miles away from here.
Philip begins to explain what we need to know, and my guess was pretty accurate. "It's a river a couple of hours away from here. The path runs along the bank. That's where all the attacks have been happening." Now we know where we're going.
I want to walk with her there, but I don't know if she is okay doing that with heels on. You might as well ask. "How do you want to get there?" I know Ciri pretty well. She'll most likely walk if given a choice, but I still need to ask her.
She leans in closer and whispers in my ear. "I want to walk with you... I have a lot of things to ask..." I will be as honest as I can be. I won't give answers to questions she doesn't ask, however.
There are things she shouldn't know about. "Well, let's go." I strap my steel sword to my back, and Ciri does the same for her silver sword. We make our way to the front gates. She hasn't let go of my hand since we left the Baron's longhouse. We pass the guards that are protecting the bridge and make our way to the river. We got a long trip ahead of us.
Unbeknownst to the two, inside Ciri's womb, two fertilized eggs are in the process of making babies. The greatest things in life are never planned. The recklessness of unprotected sex usually is avoidable. The magic of the Elder Blood has prevented that rational train of thought. The only thing the two can do is prepare when they find out.
