Check if you still have packed primitives after the cache, and also if you render octane or redshift make sure you tick the option to instance packed primitives, otherwise they will be rendered unpacked and render be really slow

i have the same question takes for ever to render

It rendered quite slow when I cached the sands out. I think it is because the geometry is not instances anymore. Is it normal?
