Excellent news. Rye Part One drops this weekend.

Okay, y'all, it's been a frenetic couple weeks—and I took the day off work today to finish coding the build, cherish me—but 0.3 RP1 is now complete.

We're gonna release it this weekend.

Here's what it has:

-Motherfucking Rye Part One (multiple sex scenes, new bad end, new characters.)

-New Silhouettes

-New Goddess Day Ending (When Rye likes you enough)

-New zone (the club, obviously)

-New game engine (Ren'Py: doesn't crash if you blow on it)

-Meaningfully updated text tweaks, typo-hunting, and eloquentification throughout.

(I, uh, went pretty hard on fixing the text. Now that we have the codebase in RenPy instead of Swahili, I can actually work on it, and I...made every tweak I had been meaning to make since 2016. I promise that this expression of my perfectionism didn't delay the release by more than two days.)

Here's what RP1 doesn't have:

-The DanceBlow minigame (though that might get fixed by this weekend)

-Animated sex scenes (and that probably won't get fixed by this weekend)

So! If you're a sex-scene purist and want to wait until you can see Rye fucking your ass with proper animated wigglin', you may want to hold off a week. If you're a DDR fiend who motherfucking loves rhythm games, you may want to hold off a week.

But if you're here for the story, and you want to see everyone's favorite tsundere train wreck, well. Have we got a show for you.
