Atlas Elyden #113 - Tatar & Kazzar (High-res)

As always, here are the high-res and textless versions of my latest map, available to Acolyte patrons and above, showing the regions of Tatar and Kazzar.

I've also included the image as files so you can download them directly.

You can find an updated key to the map here.

Thank you so much for your support  :)

This is available to use as per the CC licence on the image itself.

well as an encyclopaedia I don't expect anyone to read it all the way from A to Z! I wouldn't want to do that myself! Please do, I like getting any type of feedback, especially anything pointing out something I might have missed out or forgotten. Thanks again 👍

You do seem to have a lot of lurkers aye. XD I don't always read everything, 1mil words in your encyclopaedia is a lot! But sometimes i do and will let you know if i have any feedback. :)

thanks for commenting on the maps and writing - at least I know one person is reading my stuff :) it means a lot to get some feedback

My mistake in both cases. The "h" has a curly thing in this type style that made me think it was a b. Sorry about that. Also with the symbol, i was looking at the image in the post here and not the downloaded version. After downloading it and looking around the symbols are heaps more clear. I see what you mean now. Sorry.

the icon on the godlsayer cities is the coins and rifles tag, which means mercenaies. I'm worrying that the map isn't clear enough which is a bad thing as this is the high res image

Patreon isnt showing me the new messages so ill reply to this one again. the ruins are the Gruhviid ruins - this can be found in the encyclopaedia under gruhviid

I also just noticed that places with heavy Godslayer influence get the skull and crossbones on the map. Makes me wonder if the person/people making these maps might have some bias against them. 🤔

Conrad Staier

That's awesome! Thanks for clearing it up for me. Another thing i noticed is that the Grubviid ruins don't have an entry, but the island it's on does. Not sure if that's intentional or not.

well spotted! The corsairs are 'independent' though they are allies of the Tataran government I updated the entry in the encyclopaedia to read: 2. Dem. ‘Jerreni’. Set. City on the eponymous island. It is known for its corsairs, who are in a loose alliance with the TATARAN government. Tataran merchants are theoretically exempt from being preyed on by the corsairs and are granted right of first refusal on Jerreni plunder, and the corsairs are in turn ignored by the Tataran navy and are allowed to use their ports (Pop. c. 70,000). I also updated the map with a label saying Independent under the label for Jerr I.

Hi Nate! Amazing map as always. Love it so much! Looking at it i just wonder about which of the two nations here claim ownership over Jerr Island, as it doesn't have a border as Douza Island does. Is it an independent island maybe? The encyclopaedia entry for it doesn't seem to indicate ownership at all, only stating it's location as NW off the coast of Tatar, but neither does the entry say that it is independent. Also the presence of pirates for hire there does also lead into it maybe being an independent pirate haven that maybe either nation hires as mercenaries from time to time. That's all speculation though haha. I love that your world building makes me think of all these things though and imagine my own stories for it. It's making my imagination soar! :D
