Atlas Elyden #50 - Korachani colonies, High-res
Added 2019-11-06 16:00:02 +0000 UTCHere's the latest map in the Atlas Elyden, depicting various colonies of the Korachani empire. The map features 7 distinct locations scattered around the world of Elyden and I've included an inset map showing the world, and the different colonies in relation to each other to help place them.
This, the 50th map in the Atlas Elyden series, marks a new series of maps that I'm going to be working on, detailing regions and demesnes outside of the generic sphere of influence of the Inner Sea, so we will be seeing places that are largely unexplored, both in-world and real-world - most of my worldbuilding so far has been limited to the area immediately surrounding the Inner Sea, so this is an exciting project that will feature maps about exploration and the Inner Sea's nations attempts at colonisation.
This map was quite a difficult one to finish off as, though it may not look it, it is by far the largest, in terms of file-size, that I've made for the Atlas so far, and effectively as 2-maps worth of layers - one for the base map detailing location 7 - Tavvadra, and another with all the inset maps, plus another one with the small inset world map. I am very please with the results (though wonder if there's too much wasted land shown on the maps, but for once I thought I'd go for aesthetics over function (not to say I don't think the map is functional.
Just a quick note about this map - I did not include a textless version of the map due to its odd nature and having very little in the way of land.
