Battle for Azeroth is here!

Hey patrons, thanks again for all your support.  Thanks to your contributions, we start BfA in a much better place than we started Legion.  You may recall that Legion began with a few WeakAuras written for a few different specializations, while folks waited for the addon itself to be ready.

BfA's pre-patch phase started with support for 17 specializations, with some tweaks and tuning still underway, but each are functional and improving with feedback.

There are several new or returning features that I want to make sure y'all are aware of:

1.  Displays are now standardized, and a single profile can be shared with all of your characters.  Interrupts and Defensives (pending, for tanks) can be shown separately from your regular displays.  You can share styles with others, including multiple displays all at once via /hekili > Displays > Share Styles.  You can also store your own styles before editing or changing things, or to share your layout between specs.

2.  Each specialization's options are now sequestered (instead of being mixed up in one class).  If you go to /hekili > Specializations > Feral, you can tweak some settings, including whether you want to throttle the addon to keep it from using too much CPU.

3.  Ability settings are still here, at least in part, and will be updated over the next couple of weeks.  /hekili > Specializations > [spec] > Abilities allows you to disable abilities, change their toggle, or set a cooldown clash value.  You'll also find future settings for each specialization in this general area, but this is still pending.

4.  Action lists are now bundled into Action Packs, with a default provided for each supported specialization.  If you open up the Feral Action Pack, you'll find that the first tab has a Description section that includes my notes about any changes/adjustments I've made for that package.  The Profile tab includes the SimulationCraft profile (if applicable) for the spec, so you can see where it started from, and there is space for a source link and a date/timestamp for when it was last updated.

The lists themselves are found on the Action Lists tab, with the default and precombat lists highlighted in blue, since they are the starting point for how the addon processes the action lists.  When selecting an entry, instead of an arbitrary name or description, the addon shows you the ability name, any important attributes, and the conditions required by each entry.  Basically, by clicking the dropdown arrow, you can get a fairly comprehensive view of an individual action list in an action pack.

What's Next

Over the next days and weeks, Assassination Rogue will be added, as well as all previously supported tank specs (and Protection Warrior, too!).  Bugs will be dealt with as they're sorted out.  Individual specializations will see more options appear that help you determine how the addon makes its recommendations.

The goal is for all DPS specs to be in before BfA content opens in August.  I think this is a totally viable goal, and want to beat that deadline by as much as possible.

Mahalo!
