I normally wouldn’t make a post like this, but I’ve been fighting an uphill battle with YouTube that has made me feel like an inadequate asmr creator. My past few videos have gotten notices like the one above, telling me that my viewers are not interested in my content.
After seeing this message, I’ve tried to spice things up to see if I can make more appealing ASMRs, from putting more effort into making 3DIO audios as well as testing the waters with both “spicy” and “sweet/comforting” audios.
The sad thing is, nothing seems to be working. I continue to get this message after every upload as well as losing subscribers after every video and each new upload performs worse than the last.
I’m not sure how to please the YouTube overlords, but I do know how to please you guys. So my question from all of this is, what do you think I could do better in my audios? Do you feel that any of my audios are subpar or not as good as others you listen to/other creators? And what kinds of audios do you want to hear? Are there any audios you don’t enjoy or don’t want to click on based on the concept?
I hope that you can help me better understand what you guys enjoy and that I can please you better :) I’m sorry for such a long post, but this is something that has been bothering me for some time! I want to make you happy! ❤️❤️❤️

Youre one of my favorite top ASMRists, I know this doesnt really help feedback wise but it sounds like Youtube is just tripping.

Like calm cooking videos with gopro or sth, I mean u have a big audience :)) some reference i had in mind would be Alvin Zhou's 100 hours Lazagnia videos, or the Japan's greatest bartender from 88rising channel. I'm not saying you should move onto cooking content, but just suggesting some alternatives. (Even gaming? But do keep in mind most audience come to you seeking comfort) Tbh, I had been vaguely monitoring lots of asmr creators across 6,7 years. They mostly hit a plateau at around 60-70k sub, and slowly lose motivation to keep going. I fear moving onto something else might be imminent as you are perhaps already at the celling of your genre of ASMR content. (But don't completely stop making asmrs, they are still the best!!!)
