Not at a proper comment yet, but I twigged when she started talking to her mates and they're basically all not just white: they're blonde hair, blue eyed arian or aspiring to be. The only exceptions are the Quirky ones who are also aspiring. My main issue with the episode was that we've seen this story line dozens of times in Black Mirror, but usually with 10 times the subtlety. Also this makes for two episodes in a row where the Doctor has been off-set except to bookend the episode which is especially jarring as Boom was 99% one set with the Doctor literally in the middle of it.
