We did a cis allies episode and it didn't show up. Here is why.

Hello, this is Michelle. The sweary one from that pod you like.

We did a cisgender allies special that was so much fun to do. We talked to Owen Jones, Grace Petrie, David Paisley and Josie Long and all four of them are astonishingly wonderful.  They have all publicly stood up for the trans community in wonderful ways even when it would have been easier not to. They very much deserve to be highlighted and celebrated. And to those of you in small towns stuck at home surrounded by the horrors of the media and Liz Truss...you deserve to hear from folks with power who have your back for a change. That right there is why we do this and it is probably the episode we work the hardest on and is the only episode where we break our "no cisgender folks on the pod*" policy.

* (Unless we are covering an event or situation where a cisgender person is at the centre of it like a politician, pride organizer or member of a VERY trans relevant organisation and no trans people in that organisation are available).

But the episode wasn't ready on time. This was down to me. I got sick. Not like, COVID-19 sick. Mental health/ADHD sick.

I keep doing this thing where I go too hard for too long and then suddenly I hit a wall and become "useless Michelle."

Useless Michelle is not the worst person in the world. She just tends to shower a lot less and finds doing things so much harder than normal Michelle.

Useless Michelle kicked in about two weeks ago and many things got missed. The cis allies special was one of them. Also eating actual food that wasn't mangoes and 50p ramen noodle packs got missed (sorry Mum).

So sorry about that. A lot of you were looking forward to it. I was looking forward to it. And...I AM STILL LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.

This episode will now be out on the 7th of July. Why so long? Because we have dedicated the next month to "WHAT THE PRIDE" - our attempt to fill the gap of all the cancelled prides.  We have some amazing guest co-hosts and episodes lined up:

WHAT THE PRIDE SPEAKERS - A collection of wonderful speeches from incredible people in our community with Vic Parsons! (Gender Identity reporter for PinkNews)

We want to keep pride month all trans, all non-binary, all us. So the cis allies special will be the first episode released after pride month is done.

Apologies for the messing around. But seriously, the content we have coming is going to knock your socks off, we have been working so hard on it and you are going to love it.
