BYAMPOD, DIGI, WRITER'S CLUB OH MY!

Happy... Friday...?
We've decided that next week's BYAMPOD will be a review of this Sunday's Roundhouse gig, so it might be up a day or so later than usual.
We'll get back to Sounds That Can't Be Made the following week. Also, we'll record a Writer's Club next week as well. The last one we recorded... disappeared somehow, which is annoying.
But.... we are looking at doing an exclusive Writer's Club Zoom session at some point, which will be an interactive Q&A sort of thing.
Anyhow! We're filming for Digi early next week. Much of this week has been researching, and planning the locations/route we'll be filming along. It's a London-based ep - the first in London since we started this slightly new format - but it won't be what you expect. Is it ever? There might also be a long overdue return appearance from a certain favourite character...
Sort of.
NEW PHONE WHO DIS?
We've even upgraded some of our gear for the filming.
We looked at all the options for cameras, and so many guides just said the iPhone 15 Pro Max was the best for vlogging.
So, I've gone for that, in part because we already know what we're doing with the iPhone, and we know the footage looks good enough for our purposes. It's also discreet and quick to use, which works for us.
I watched a video where they compared it with a £100,000 camera kit and, frankly, the footage was basically indistinguishable, unless you were a real camera buff.
Sanja will have my current 13 Pro Max, which means we'll now have two decent camera phones capable of capturing footage. Should mean more of her on camera.

BEYOND
Next week's video will be our final regular ep until the new year, as we're then focusing on Christmas month.
We should have at least two Christmas specials, PLUS a live stream with Paul and Eli on December 21st. Studio is booked for that, and we're aiming for it to be a bit of everything that you've loved in the past - so, Christmas Shop Corner, new Found Footage, music (!), characters... all that. A proper, proper Christmas special, which I've already started working on.
We may even try to get an episode of Digi Level 2 out pre-Christmas (no promises; we've a lot to do), and with that in mind I've been editing the recent zombie shoot this week. It is looking gorrrrrrrrrrgeous. It'll all be on the new Digitiser gaming channel (name tbd), which will likely replace our current Digitiser Extra channel. So, some of you should already be subscribed.
We've already worked out what our first bunch of Digi episodes in 2024 will be. With those and Digi Level 2, it promises to be one heck of a year. I'd love to be able to afford to shoot somewhere overseas - I've a really ambitious idea for something in Spain - but that very much depends on monies.
As I've said before, it's a relief to see the channel growing finally. We also had a really noticeable bump from the lovely Dan Does plugging us - it seems that breaking beyond the Barshens/Cheapshow/retro gaming bubble is where our focus should be. We still love those people, and will continue to feature them from time to time - I mean, the whole of Digi Level 2 is a guest appearance-fest - but we're still looking at others who might want to do something with us, who haven't done stuff with us before.
We're also getting nice comments from all sorts of unexpected places about the recent videos (apart from Gretna Green, which is one of our worst performing videos ever! What's the matter? You don't like love?). It's giving us the confidence to keep to this path, and keep getting better at it.
H'okay! That's it for today. If I don't find another reason to post before the weekend... I might see some of you on Sunday, and talk to you next week. Have the loveliest weekend.
Paul
