2024-10-23 05:54:27 +0000 UTCI happy cry when I listen to a lot of this album. I always say that even when Willow is talking about being in dark places, it never FEELS that way. This woman is literally creating at a frequency that makes you feel light when you listen to it. MY album of the year. I know people will say check out her rock albums but I genuinely think that "1st" would blow your mind when you consider how young she was when it was released. Some really interesting vocals on that one. "WILLOW", her self titled was my favorite project of hers until Empathogen. It's REALLY cool to see her range. Also, speaking of rating albums like this, Pitchfork rated this album 6.8. Their opinion is absolutely worthless to me but I almost sent them a*thrax in the mail.
