I transitioned from 29 to 30 in this video in a weird way sooo.. that was kinda cool! While watching this, I was also reminded of how many ways I take inspiration for my work through the comedy stylings of Bo. He really is a one-of-a-kind creator and musician and by watching this again since its release I can see how this was a huge accomplishment for him as a creative individual - its seriously a masterpiece. so I'm glad I was able to watch it again 4 years later and reflect. Made me sad, not gonna lie, lol but - hey sad stuff makes me sad, what can I say? Just being my genuine me. Please vote in the discord on what you'd like me to watch next! At the time of shooting Bo lived there with his then girlfriend Lorene ("for lor,") Scarafia. The house was also featured in the music video for his song "Repeat Stuff". This same guest house was also featured at the end of Bo's last live special "Make Happy".

It's so important for things like this to be discussed and said out loud and I'm glad Bo did it because he did it so beautifully.

2024-09-23 01:42:30 +0000 UTCTo add to the discussion surrounding kids and the internet, I think part of the issue is there's less barriers/controls set on their electronic devices and parents who aren't taking the time/ aren't willing to do the work of watching something BEFORE their kids do to make sure it's safe. I know a few parents of the children I teach dance to who go to R rated or PG13 movies with their 2nd & 3rd graders...I will never understand the thought process behind that.

We're the same age, like literally 2 months apart, so all your internet and pop culture references hit 100%, but honestly that's kinda just a bonus because B. you are not afraid to share your vulnerabilities, whether it's crying to a Taylor song, looking to chat when you don't quite get something (often "the girl experience" things lol), or just letting us know when you're emotionally resonating with someone's struggle (Glaive), leading to C. you grow - like I've seen your appreciation for the pop girlies just blossom over the years and I always think to myself, "couldn't be everyone" - you understand that context can make a listening experience fuller, and while a good album shouldn't need it, doing light googling or asking chat to get why a lyric is written the way it is, situated with the lyrics around it, can totally change the way that song is perceived for the better and in this day in age, with confession style writing so popular, that is so necessary. My first video I ever watched was the Ashe/Ashlyn video (BTW you have the two new albums of hers to review including one that JUST DROPPED. Please and thank you!!) and then I quickly watched the Melodrama, Happier Than Ever, and various Taylor videos out at the time, and from the beginning I've held the thoughts above about your review style. I have Chats & Reacts if I want all hype/"the girl experience", the Swiftologist if I want a fan's critical response, (Fontano if I just want to be mad), and I have you as my perfect musician-background baby bear, giving praise when warranted, technical criticism when necessary, and love overflowing for music, your followers, and being a silly goofy guy (I was BUSTING watching the HSM series. I turned 30 in June and It was the most beautiful day, but you can't help but feel this existential dread, and melancholy that fills you up like a balloon and makes you want to burst but you don't know with what or really why?? It wasn't until a week or so later that I got to really have a moment of gratitude to my 20s and time to actually reflect on how lucky I am to be here, 30 was not in my plans and now I get to see where it take me and that's so beautiful.
