EARLY ACCESS: RE-DELIVERING 70 YEAR-OLD POSTCARDS!

New Digi video time!

We bought a bunch of really old postcards with weird messages, and decided to return them to their original destination addresses - by hand! Plus: Biffo flirts with comedy controversy in order to make Sanja uncomfortable...

This is the sort of Digi video I love. It took longer to edit than usual, but it has a bit of everything: desk stuff, outside stuff, Found Footage-y bits... and it's an interesting subject in and of itself, even though it almost immediately descends into chaos. It feels like a proper fully rounded ep. Hope you enjoy it.

Also! Because Patrons at £5 and up got an exclusive Patreon-only ep this week where we look at saucy seaside postcards, all of you will get this week's outtakes. That should be up this afternoon.

Huzzah!

The postcard videos have been some of my favorite Digi videos (and that is saying something because you've created some really excellent content). Reminded me of when my grandparents passed away and we cleaned out their house that they had been in for about 50 years. We found that my grandpa had stashed some saucy old postcards about the house that he had received from some of his mates. He had squirreled them away all over the place, probably because my gran would have chucked out the lot had she found them. She would NOT have found them amusing! Gave us a laugh thinking about him furtively hiding his hiding his prize collection of ridiculous old postcards from Gran.

So good! I genuinely think this is one of the best videos you've put out. Great to see Silvio the Sicilian Fly crossing over from BYAMPOD to Digi. I hope he'll become a regular guest. Right, I'm off to check on my bread position...

I've been to Snooper's Paradise a load of times without ever once realising what it was called. Because those old postcards often used the most utterly mundane subjects imaginable (There's at least one "Long Ditton: Printers Shop and Newsagent" postcard somewhere out there) the big boxes of them are popular with people looking for vintage photography of local areas. My dad managed to find one of his house once.

Matt Kimber (Timberwolf)

My mum is barred from there for arguing with the owner about the price of their stuff...

Chris Bell

There is only Gweedana. All hail Gweedana.

This is making it hard to eat dinner - so funny!

Ok the bread position animation is second only to omelette ants in my affections.

Kathy Holloway (Silph)

Anyone got any Vera's? Laaaaaavely. Fascinating topic this week. Really enjoying it. Guisborough is up near Middlesbrough on the edge of the North York Moors (the X on the cliff). Used to have a grammar school until 1971.

Dave Graves

I love Snooper’s Paradise so much.

Kathy Holloway (Silph)

Whooo! Hope you enjoy it, Ed.

Paul Rose (Mr Biffo)

Oh, this sounds like it's going to be a treat. This is what I love about Digi YouTube stuff.
