WAKEY-WAKEY!

Hey, fellow kids! I wrote a big, long, blog post about Digi Live for you... but I think I'm going to park it and we'll make it a video instead. Sorry we haven't gotten that to you yet - we were going to film yesterday, along with a couple of Patreon exclusives, and then Sanja and I got hit with a wave of tiredness (basically, we're still catching up from not really sleeping on Saturday night).

The short of it is... we all had a brilliant time, and we're blown away by the response to it. The video footage is looking great, so we're probably going to release it on DVD/Blu-Ray first, with extras of some nature, and then we'll probably put an edited version out on YouTube - a sort of 'highlights', rather than the whole thing. 

I'm also considering maybe just plucking out one or two bits and putting them up as standalone videos. Top Tier will get the full, brand new, 15-minute Found Footage film, hopefully before the end of the week. 

I will probably mention this when we film, but something I kind of want to do next year is some sort of low-key tour thing. 

That was in fact something we'd intended to do this year, had the pandemic not happened - just three or four small shows around the country for people who couldn't get down to London. None of the big production, probably just me (and maybe Sanja in the role of interviewer) talking about Digi's history, working in kids TV... that sort of thing. All very loose, but still lots of fun, with slides, a Q&A and whatnot. Tiny venues. No pressure. Very different to Digi Live. 

Occasionally I need to be reminded that our audience also wants to see me, and aren't just there for Cheapshow boyz! But also, it'd  go some way to reaching people for whom London is too far. But we'll see. 

I think I've managed to convince Gannon to do Cheapshow Live next year, so a full-on Digi Live in 2022 might be too much anyway. Plus, we should probably save it for our 30th anniversary in 2023!

But aaaaanyway... that's where we're at right now. Coming up... we're filming Digi today. recording BYAMPOD tomorrow, and launching the Digitiser The Show Series 2 Kickstarter on September 28th. The rest of this month should be some vids with just Sanja and I for a bit, before we reconvene with everyone for another run of Digi Deluxe. I want to get some fresh contestants (victims) in The Golden Bean.
