Each one of these artists comes from our community discord channel that was set up by the incredible mod Leah (shoutout Leah)! Let me know how y'all felt about the stream down below, should there be more artists we cover? should we just do 2 songs? Is the rating system okay? I'm looking for a lot of feedback so please if you have any I'd love to hear!

They're a 6 piece from a small village in Wales, UK called church village, hence the band name. They have really great funky 70s rock vibes and they're all incredibly talented musicians, they have just done their first mini tour in the US including a set at Bonnaroo and are back over there in the fall (autumn to us in the UK) and they will be at austin city limits! but please check them out! they're seriously amazing and such a great band, i'm sure they will be making waves soon, they are also great performers and put on an amazing live show. I think it’d be fun if you kept an ongoing tier list for these streams so we have an ultimate underground artist tier list :) so so fun, I hope this is a mainstay now. I love discovering new artists through your channel.

To Mateklof's point, I'm not sure how you would attack this, but I would maybe skip any of the most popular that are covers/dj features/etc, and try to get to their most popular solo/produced music. Love love love this idea! :)

One thing I thought of was to maybe lower the monthly listeners number slightly? 5 million is very high. Also, I checked the top songs on Spotify of some of the artists I suggested in the chat yesterday, and yikes. Christmas songs, live duets from tv shows that are currently popular, etc. In many cases it really wasn’t a good representation of those artists at all. I don’t know how to fix that. I tried going after the number of streams each song had instead and it was a little bit better. Maybe some combination? Top song and most streamed? Or take song suggestions and attach them to the artist in the wheel? Lastly, it was me who suggested an international stream with songs not in English! It would be so fun! I have so many Swedish artists and bands to recommend.
