Added 2023-04-09 12:43:45 +0000 UTCwell HT Hotties, we hit another HUGE stream yesterday (nearly 3 hours) with when we all fall asleep, where do we go by the lovely and talented Queen Billiam Eilish lol so much fun y'all. This album I actually realized I have heard most of these songs through videos and just through being on the internet but it was still great to listen closely to try and pick up all of the great production work by Finny and Billie. About the spider in her mouth, I saw an interview where she explained the handler told her that tarantulas actually like warm, dark, and moist environments...so it wouldn't mind being in a mouth at all😅😂

The music video depicts the fall of lucifer at the beginning, and his wings getting stuck in an oil pit on earth. Similar to how a bird gets stuck in oil. The song is depicting climate change and how humans are ruining what "god and the heavens " created. Shes saying its so bad that you would even turn to the devil for help. The lyrics suggest a dialog between lucifer and god saying "man is such a fool why are we saving them" saying that if they were to have a conversation even they would be on the same side. The music video is very symbolic as well showing fire and people dancing in the flames. Bringing awareness to the California fires and how people are just dancing on with their lives instead of doing anything. The pen game is strong on this one and i highly recommend watching rev Chris react to it even if you aren't religious.

I believe you haven't looked into their original discography, the really good ones. They self produce (mostly RM and SUGA) and I would love to see what you think about that!

Honestly this video makes me worried for early Taylor albums though because I realised production is king on this channel so older production with more traditional song structure, worried that will be too distracting even if the lyrics, melodies etc are good. Who knows though!! Speak now is the closest to a punkier pop sound than the rest of her albums so.
