March update

good evening, little birds!  hope you're all well. <3  thought it was time for a quick update about the state of things.

first: new patrons, oh my goodness!  thank you so much!  your generosity is extremely appreciated, and i hope that what i have to offer will compel you to stick around for a while!

second:  quick reminder that the Patrons-only free ANATOMY download link will ONLY BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE 31st OF MARCH, so if for any reason you've yet to download your copy, please do that as soon as possible!

third:  unfortunately i seem to have come up against a pretty substantial number of technical problems over the past few weeks, and it sort of feels like everything is falling apart at once.  i only just barely managed to get "BAST" built, and even then only due to the kindness and generosity of my good friend and roommate, who valiantly let me use his computer in my hour of need.  i don't know what's going on or how to solve it, and odds are it's going to cost money i really can't afford to part with, so i want to warn you all ahead of time that this next month's exclusive game may not happen anywhere close to on-time.  i've already started work on it, and i'm going to do my best to keep working on it no matter what, but life seems to be doing its level best to stand in my way lately.  i'm sincerely sorry-- i feel like i make a really unacceptable number of excuses for myself, and i promise i'm doing my best to keep this ship afloat.  i'll try to get SOMETHING out every month, but i may have to scale back to a short story, Twine game, or some other project of similar scale until i can determine what's going wrong.

fourth:  just as soon as i think things are starting to level out financially, my rent is going up!  waaah!  i seriously can't thank you all enough for your ongoing support, because you really have kept me alive for this past half-plus year, but as miserable as it is to admit, even with a part time job i'm still struggling to make ends meet.  as such, in the hope of attracting new patrons, i had an idea that i might release a free, publicly available 'mixtape' of three of the games I've made for this Patreon-- specifically Grandmother, Pente, and Leechbowl.  the hope is that anyone who downloads it will get an idea of what i'm trying to do every month, and might be interested enough to join all of you darling little birds.  the reason I'm mentioning this in an update is because I want to give anyone (specifically of the $5 or higher tiers) who has any strong feelings against this idea to be able to bring them up with me-- i don't want anyone to feel cheated or slighted in any way.  if this idea bothers you, please email or direct message me and let me know!

fifth:  i got bored and made some desktop wallpapers!  i'm trying to get into the swing of making and releasing fun, small things for patrons of all tiers.  i hope you enjoy them!
