What we In Norway find funny about those guns back then and even now, is that when US Navy struggled with those guns, NAMMO was working on 180+km 155mm shells for army artillery guns, and they was in production not so many years after Zumwalt class was. We was like: "Hey if they want to save money on 155mm shells, they should talk with the army, they literally use long range 155m shell and now extended range, and they are far cheaper!"
