Oddtober #8: A second retreat

On First Lieutenant Blyse's reluctant orders, the enforcers quickly tipped tables into makeshift barricades, loosing a volley of snapping particle shots into the crimson wave pouring from the vents. Promising another safe point, the Director fled toward the nearest exit. Blyse, taking two enforcers with him, followed, commanding the other enforcers to continue cover fire until he and the researchers were safely out of the commissary. As the brain-beasts fell into a growing pile of sickening meat, a larger humanoid shape fell with the lesser beings, flopping noisily into a shadowed corner. Groaning, it rose to its feet as the enforcers struggled to keep the wave back from their battle line....

This is the eighth entry for our "Oddtober" event. Every odd day (up through Halloween), we'll be releasing some models following a sci-fi horror theme (all following a light narrative), adding them to the $5+ reward folder as we go. Today's models (two researchers in a moving/fleeing pose) will require supports when printing.
