The R-30 Bulava SLBM (NATO: SS-NX-32)

This missile has new features previous SLBM's did not have. One of which is the ability to change it's target mid-flight.  The 2nd and 3rd stages have maneuvering nozzles to change its ballistic trajectory.  This gives the missile anti-missile defense avoidance. The first stage has a rapid fuel burn for maximum acceleration designed to avoid ballistic missile defenses like THAAD.  These upgrades are the primary cause for the nearly 40% missile failure.

HAHAHA!

wiki might be quoting the projected CEP for when/if the weapon works?

FTC

But the CEP (120-350) seems comparable to western counterparts (acc to wikipedia). Maybe there is some issue with terminal guidance when ballistic missile defence systems are employed ?

They can't seem to get the Stage 3 mobility right....so, someone is getting a bomb. It's just not the target.

Good catch! Thanks.

Love it, if I may critique, the fist stage may be a typo <3
