2026-02-14 22:29:20 +0000 UTCIt doesn't really spoil much of anything to confirm that Ishtar actually did just cut in line and it was (her) bad luck that made her take Arash's slot. It's got nothing at all to do with compatibility.

Is Ishtar here now due to actual compatibility with Taylor (who presumably isn't doing more solo summons after getting Arash back)? Will Ishtar improve Taylor's mental health (my bet is yes)? Will I learn these things before CCXXV becomes public? Not that Ishtar is actually identified until CCXXVI, but someone commented with that info on CCXXV CIP, so I assume it is sufficiently obvious."

2026-01-04 03:26:28 +0000 UTCIt wasn't a reference *I* caught, but I just recently started playing for myself, and didn't get the chance to encounter that dialogue at the time (and sadly, did NOT get Ishtar in the recent New Year's banner). This chapter was written perfection; watching her spar with Marie was quite fun! Thank you for that. :) And *of course* she was aiming for Ritsuka as her Master - no wonder she's compatible with *Rin . . .* And in reading the chapter, it occurs to me that Taylor is *probably* more compatible with *Ereshkigal - * they're both "gloomy," responsible, dedicated workaholics with a softer side. It'll be interesting to see if Ishtar remarks on it - and how it might apply to Babylonia . . .
