[Hereafter] Chapter CCXIV: Eight-Headed Serpent
Added 2025-10-11 20:19:50 +0000 UTCI hesitate to put a number on how many chapters are left, just because I'm not sure. There's a lot still I want to cover, a couple fights that need to happen, a few dramatic reveals left, some last second surprises... But given how close we are to the end, less than ten chapters, I think. Which is actually kinda mind-blowing when you realize that would mean this arc would be more than 50 chapters long on its own.
I said that this would be one of the longest Singularities in the story. If I'd been able to fit in all of the things I wanted to fit, including a few more battles and some more tense negotiations, I can only begin to imagine how long this would have been.
The beginning of the end for the American Singularity. Whew.

2025-10-12 22:10:52 +0000 UTCSlight inconsistency spotted: Morrigan is the one who reveals to Citrine that there's two grails, but then later enters the scene without having exited, and is described as "a new voice". Other than that, good chapter, it sets up the upcoming battle well.
